As we see 2021 come to a close, we would like to take a moment to give thanks to our clients, experts, and ecosystem partners for their continued support throughout this incredible year.

This past year was remarkable for the team here at Keystone. We are fortunate enough to continue to partner with some of the world’s leading academic and industry experts in digital transformation and in particular, have built on the lessons from “Competing in the Age of AI” to help global enterprises, private equity firms, and their portfolio companies set and execute on transformation strategies.

In this year-end newsletter, we share some of the highlights of our past year. Keystone’s Chairman and Harvard Business School professor Marco Iansiti worked with the Keystone team to publish research around the value of data, the strength of network effects, and how businesses must continue to innovate and digitally transform their business and operation models to stay ahead of the competition. Additionally, our team of leading consultants also produced a trio of reports commissioned by Microsoft Azure on how leaders can build a culture around data as they rethink their business and operating models with AI/ML in mind. Led by Marco and Tom Kudrle, a partner at the firm, we helped shape these white papers into a series dedicated to surfacing insights to management teams looking to successfully navigate a digital transformation for Microsoft and their ecosystem of products.

We have seen a pronounced appreciation for the need for new approaches and data platforms in all businesses, implementing the lessons of digital-first firms like Microsoft and Amazon. In fact, some of the fastest transformation and business change has been by leaders of more traditional businesses that see the imperative to change and inspire their companies to fast action with significant results.
