As we enjoy time together this holiday season, we write to thank you—our clients, experts, and ecosystem partners—for your support throughout another incredible year.

This past year was extraordinary for the team here at Keystone. We are particularly proud of the work we’ve accomplished as part of our Economics & Technology Advisory group. We are fortunate enough to continue to partner with some of the world’s leading academic and industry experts on matters that touch all areas of tech, and we found ourselves at the forefront of some of most cutting-edge matters related to privacy, IP, antitrust, and platform economics.

In this year-end newsletter, we share some of the highlights of our past year. Just last week, we were recognized for the third year in a row by Global Competition Review in their Economics 23 list for our ability to combine economics, computer science, and business strategy. Our Chairman and Harvard Business School professor, Marco Iansiti, published groundbreaking research around the value of data, the strength of network effects, and how businesses must continue to innovate and digitally transform their business and operation models to stay ahead of the competition. Our team of economists also presented novel research at this year’s NABE TEC2021 conference, applying a data shapely model to a critically important prediction problem. Members of our antitrust and competition practice also found opportunities to attend important conferences and seminars, providing insights into Contextual Integrity (CI) and the AdTech landscapes.

We look forward to ringing in 2022 with a renewed focus of delivering transformative ideas from the tech industry to market, strengthened partnerships with our incredible network of experts, and gratitude for our amazing team of consultants here at Keystone.
