Vladimir Bejan

Staff Scientist

Vladimir Bejan is a Staff Applied Scientist at Keystone AI, where he builds and deploys machine and deep learning systems for reliability, decision support, and AI-driven products. He is based in the Pacific Northwest.

Before joining Keystone, Vladimir spent over a decade in data science and machine learning roles, including Principal positions at Microsoft. Over the past two years, his work has focused on Azure OpenAI, supporting applied large language model (LLM) use cases, evaluation pipelines, and production reliability. His background also includes deep learning, time-series modeling, and production ML systems used across cloud and platform environments.

Vladimir holds a PhD in Economics with a specialization in time-series econometrics. His career has centered on applying deep learning and modern ML to build production systems used by engineering and product teams, with an emphasis on model quality, scalability, and operational robustness.

Vladimir enjoys hiking and spending time with his family, especially exploring the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
