Ruben Brown

Principal Technology Fellow

Ruben is Principal Technical Fellow working out of the Boston office. He has worked on defense research at MIT Lincoln Laboratory, protecting the security and integrity of a third of the world’s internet traffic at Akamai, and on one of the world’s largest advertising platforms at Meta. With over two decades of experience in system design, security, and privacy, he has led large-scale infrastructure initiatives, developed scalable security processes, and aligned technical solutions with regulatory requirements.

He holds a patent for Using the State of a Request Routing Mechanism to Inform Attack Detection, has published several papers on software analysis, and has chaired a conference for Malware and Bot Reverse Engineering.

Ruben spends his free time cooking from BBQ to haute cuisine, and winter hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
