Nicolas Bozzo

Economist

Nicolas is from Chile and studied Commercial Engineering with a concentration in Economics. After getting his undergraduate degree, he earned a Master's in Economics with a concentration in Industrial Organization. Nicolas then joined Econsult, an economics and finance consultancy firm based in Chile. At Econsult, Nicolas led antitrust cases encompassing Mergers, Collusion, and Impact Evaluation; the role was challenging since, in a short time, it required the understanding of business dynamics of firms from a broad spectrum of industries, and be able to describe and analyze them in economics terms. After two years at Econsult, Nicolas moved to AZ to study for a PhD in Economics at ASU. During his PhD, he continued focusing on Industrial Organization and antitrust. His biggest project analyzes the effect of different market structures on the network of providers included in health insurance contracts. Nicolas was born In Chile, and is the happy father of a 1 year old named Elisa.
