Neil Goradia

Neil Goradia is a Partner in the Investigations Practice at Keystone with a storied 20+ year career in investigations, forensic analytics, and technology strategy. Drawing on his deep technical background in application and model development, Neil has applied advanced forensic analytics across industries including financial services, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, manufacturing, and gaming. His work is recognized for uncovering fact patterns, building compelling narratives, and withstanding the most rigorous scrutiny from regulators, courts, and opposing experts. He has a significant impact on many high-profile matters including the Bernie Madoff Fraud Investigation and Claims Management Processes, Deep Water Horizon Investigation and Data Governance, multiple DOJ and SEC led monitorships related to financial misconduct, False Claims Act Litigation, and numerous money laundering and sanctions investigations. Neil has developed and honed numerous disciplines including software development, operational improvement, bankruptcy / restructuring, and regulatory investigations at top tier consulting firms like AlixPartners.

Neil has also worked extensively in the technology strategy space, applying technology design, development and implementation experience along with an empirical approach to process and technology improvement to help clients realize increased ROI with forward-looking technology stacks. Neil started his career working with large energy companies to develop and implement software to manage everything from production to sales. He has also served as COO of a 700-person professional services arm at Kroll focused on technology and risk consulting. By combining his expertise in both investigations, risk, and technology advisory, Neil takes both a risk and P&L view in working with clients to address today’s emerging technology issues.

Finally, over the last decade, with the emergence of blockchain and virtual assets into mainstream finance, Neil has focused his regulatory and technical experience in deeply understanding the Cryptocurrency and digital asset space including technical processes and the evolution of regulatory vigor. He has used this expertise to support virtual asset clients in compliance program development and numerous regulatory investigations. Most notably, Neil led a significant team in supporting the largest crypto exchange in the world respond to regulatory scrutiny, helping evolve and implement traditional finance compliance policies and processes to the digital assets space.
