Dr. Matteo Foschi joins as a Partner in our London office. He is a micro economist, with an expertise in industrial organization, competition policy, and incentive theory. He has advised clients on global scale, high profile mergers and acquisitions in front of the European Commission, the UK competition and markets authority, and the Federal Trade Commission. Matteo is currently advising Microsoft in on their ongoing acquisition of Activision Blizzard across multiple jurisdictions including the EU, the UK, and other across the globe.
Before joining Keystone, Matteo has advised clients for many years at Charles River Associates where he worked on multiple global deals including but not limited to Microsoft’s acquisitions of language recognition and AI software company Nuance and the game publishing studio ZeniMax, as well as advising Amazon in its investment in Deliveroo in the UK.
Prior to CRA, Matteo held a Max Weber Fellowship in economics at the European University Institute and the Royal Economic Society Junior Fellowship. Matteo holds a PhD from the University of Leicester where he also served as a Lecturer.
