Mani received his Ph.D. in Economics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Most of his research was explored applying machine learning to economic modeling. His main interest is in using machine learning methods for causal inference. While in graduate school, Mani worked as a data science fellow at Baruch College, where he and his team endeavored to find factors related to students’ success or failure. In addition to his degree in Economics, Mani holds Master’s degrees in Analytics and in Computer Science.
In his free time, Mani enjoys going to Broadway shows and trying new cuisines.
