Lorenz is a Senior Economist, and his background is primarily in behavioural economics and empirical analysis. His PhD at the University of Exeter focused on the importance of reputation effects in economic models of repeated interaction. During a one-year postdoctoral fellowship, he studied the impact of the 2008-2009 stamp duty land tax holiday in Wales. The aim of this project was to estimate the impact of tax incentives on the behaviour of first-time buyers. After spending three years at another economic consulting firm, he joined Keystone in January 2023, based in the London office. He is part of the Keystone Advanced Technical Services (K.ATS) team.
A triathlete and marathoner, outside of work you’ll find Lorenz in the gym or on a long-distance run.
