Leilei Zhang

Leilei Zhang is a Principal Scientist based in Seattle, specializing in Operations Research.

Prior to joining Keystone, she spent three years at Flexport as a Senior Applied Scientist, where she led optimization initiatives for destination trucking (FTL/LTL) networks and designed, built, and deployed batch optimization solutions for drayage and port recovery operations.

Before Flexport, Leilei spent three and a half years at FICO as a Senior Consultant on the Xpress Optimizer team. She partnered with multiple clients to design and implement optimization, heuristic, and simulation models tailored to complex business decision-making needs.

Earlier in her career, Leilei spent two years at Ford Motor Company as a Data Analyst. There, she managed the Ford Smart Inventory Management System—a centralized vehicle configuration recommendation and deployment platform used by dealerships across the network.

Outside of work, Leilei enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, paddleboarding, snowboarding, skiing, and foraging.
