Jun Zhang

Jun is a Principal Scientist at Keystone AI and a member of the Seattle team, working remotely from Dallas, TX.

Before joining Keystone, he was a Senior Research Scientist at Amazon, where he enhanced Amazon Grocery’s multi-echelon inventory optimization engine by designing a state-of-the-art algorithm that incorporates dynamic vendor delivery schedules and by developing and implementing a batch-ordering model in the inventory optimization engine. He began his career in academia before transitioning to supply chain optimization practice. He has published 16 papers in leading business journals, including Management Science, Production and Operations Management, and the Journal of Operations Management.

Outside of work, he enjoys jogging and running.

• M.E. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Beihang University
• B.Sc. in Applied Mathematics from Shanghai Jiao Tong University
