James earned his PhD in mathematics from Dartmouth College in 2021. Before that, he studied math and physics at Middlebury College. Prior to joining Keystone, he worked with the Army Corps of Engineers as a Research Mathematician working on statistical acoustical research and on efforts to modernize dam safety and reporting procedures.
