Gowthami Venkateswaran

Economist

Gowthami is an Economist in Keystone’s San Francisco office. During her PhD, she conducted empirical research using observational data to estimate causal relationships in the field of development and environmental economics. Her graduate research explores the negative impact of distortionary fertilizer subsidies on the environment and human health outcomes. At Keystone, she is motivated by the chance to work on projects that are impactful and central to today’s economy.

In her free time, Gowthami enjoys long walks in parks and taste testing pastries from neighborhood bakeries.
