Gianmarco is a Senior Principal in the London office. He has more than ten years’ experience as a professional economist. He has advised clients in high profile competition and antitrust cases, including merger control cases, Article 101 and 102 cases and private litigations before the European Commission, national competition authorities and tribunals. His experience spans industries including financial markets, media, telecommunications, transport, energy, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and payment systems.
Before joining Keystone, Gianmarco was Vice President at Compass Lexecon and led the economic analysis of over 20 horizontal and non-horizontal mergers at the UK Competition and Markets Authority (and at its predecessor, the Office of Fair Trading).
Gianmarco holds an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University, with BSC dissertation in statistics and MSC dissertation in game theory applied to competition policy.
