Andy Zuppann

Principal

Andy is a Principal in the San Francisco office where his practice centers on competition and healthcare. He specializes in applying economic and statistical methods to complex litigation, with experience spanning class certification, liability, market definition, and damages. Andy regularly supports leading academic and industry experts, and he has testified as an expert witness.

As a consultant, Andy has led a range of engagements, including collusive pricing in generic drug markets, exclusionary contracts and foreclosure in healthcare technology networks, and False Claims Act matters.

Earlier in his career, Andy was an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston. His research has been published in the Journal of Human Resources, and he has presented at national conferences on healthcare pricing and supply chains.

Outside of work, he enjoys hiking with his family and their dog, Lily, as well as reading and exploring the Bay Area’s neighborhoods, restaurants, and cultural life.
